More about John Haigh Farms

About the Farm

The farm is currently run and managed by the three sons of John Haigh who sadly passed away in 2010. He left his legacy to John Haigh, Peter Haigh and David Haigh and supported by their extended family's.

The farm is run as a family affair milking the 120 milking herd twice a day 365 days per year.

We are proud dairy farmers and still produce, process and bottle our milk on site. We supply our milk to doorsteps through our network of milkmen as well as shops, restaurants and other local business.

Since 2016 we have been awarded license to supply raw un pasteurised milk. It doesn't get any fresher than that!

About The Family

We  have been Farming in Barkisland and Scammonden for over 50 years. The original farm was located at Dean Head which now occupies the large Scamonden Reservoir. The family then moved to Heath Lea Farm and been there ever since. We currently farm over 250 acres of land.
